None Betty Donovan

Betty Donovan (Goddard), a lifetime resident of Hyde Park, passed away on February 14, 2017 at the age of 86.  Born in Boston, she was the daughter of  Samuel and Julia (Schmidt) Goddard.   Betty was the beloved wife of the late Joseph W. Donovan and the loving mother of John “Jack” Donovan and his wife Deborah of Newton, Julie Germano and her husband Edward of Dedham,  Edward Donovan and his wife Joan also of Dedham and Joanne Donovan and her companion Michael Stern of Hyde Park.  She was the devoted grandmother of John Donovan, Jessica Morris, Brian Germano, Brenda David and Laura Germano, Jason, Kaitlyn, Taylor and Christopher Donovan and great grandmother of Layla, Lorenzo, Bryce, Faith, Jordan and Caleb.  Her family was her greatest joy and she was very proud of them.  Betty enjoyed playing bingo and the lottery.  She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 4 to 8PM at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton St., in Dedham.  Her funeral service is on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 10AM at the funeral home and will be followed by interment in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton, MA
