Olayinka Abimbola (Ogungbadero) Yayo, a resident of Hyde Park, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026, in Boston, MA, at the age of 70. Olayinka was born on November 16, 1955, in Lagos, Nigeria, to Monsuru and Olakunle (Ajose) Ogungbadero. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and worked alongside her late husband, Babson T. Yayo, in his real estate business. Olayinka was actively involved in the Nigerian community and dedicated most of her life to working in healthcare as a caregiver before retiring. She is survived by her children: Toyin (Yayo) Kofoworola and her husband, Yinka Kofoworola, of Orlando, Florida; Ayobami Yayo and his wife, Shana (Sullivan) Yayo, of Arlington, Texas; and Olaolu Yayo of Hyde Park, Massachusetts. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Tolu Kofoworola, Lanni Kofoworola, and Ayobami Jr. Yayo, as well as her brothers, Jide and Akin Ogungbadero, and many other beloved siblings and their families. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 23, from 6 to 8 PM at Folsom Funeral Home, located at 87 Milton Street, Dedham. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 24, at 10 AM at the funeral home, followed by interment at Fairview Cemetery in Hyde Park.
